The Conference Center was completed in late 2004. In all the Conference Center includes over 100 hotel rooms, a 5,000 square foot restaurant, below street parking and 10,000 square feet each of retail space and business offices. The city will operate and maintain the new facility. This facility will accommodate more than 600 for conferences and events and up to 420 for sit-down dinners.

  Some of the first tenants to sign contracts included Kitsap Transit, Subway and Coldstone Creamery.

 




Government Center

Opened October 22, 2005 
 

  On Saturday, October 22nd, 2005 about 750 people were on hand to celebrate the grand opening of another cornerstone project in downtown Bremerton!

 A cornerstone of downtown redevelopment, the new government center houses offices for the city of Bremerton, offices, Kitsap Health District,  Kitsap County Consolidated and Bremerton Housing authorities, U.S. Rep. Norm Dicks, Kitsap County and other tenants.

 

 

Bremerton Transportation Center

Completed in 2000, the Bremerton Transportation Center was the first step to Bremerton's Downtown revitalization.

    


Kitsap Credit Union Headquarters

 Completed Fall 2006

 

 

The Kitsap Credit Union construct a brand new headquarters located on Second Street and Washington Avenue across the street from the brand new Conference Center on the boardwalk. The project also included a significantly largere parking lot, half of which will be used by Kitsap Transit and the city for a new kiss-and-ride facility.  
  

Harborside Fountain Park       

Completed Spring 2007


Harborside Fountain Park is a 2.5-acre park located in downtown Bremerton near the Convention Center. The park, which opened in May 2007, is one of the area's most beautiful get-a-ways.  

Located on the waterfront, the park features alrge fountains, wading pools and lush landscaping. The park will also be home to the Harborside Heritage Naval Museum, which is scheduled to open in late 2008 and the historical "Building 50" which is well over 100 years old and was originally located in Puget Sound Naval Shipyard.

Redevelopments changing downtown's landscape

Dietz Building
Expected completion date- First phase completed in December 2004, future dates for completion to be announced 
Building owner Brian Chrey filled the ground floor with a rib and sandwich shop, art gallery and Asian restaurant. All plan to open this year. Office and residential space are planned on the top two floors.
A million dollar dream restaurant and martini bar is planned for Dietz Building at the corner of Fourth St. and Pacific Ave. 


Waterfront condominiums
Expected completion date -First phase 2006, Second phase 2007

Construction for the waterfront Harborside and 400 Condominiums are the heart of the Bremerton renaissance area is on schedule. Buyers at condominiums are taking advantage of the unique location and views as well as their proximity to downtown activities and recreational parks.

New Luxury Hotel

A boutique waterfront hotel is being planned next door to the Harborside Condominiums. It will bring additional amenities and services to residents at Harborside.

 


Bremerton Marina

Expected completion date 2008


A 335 slip Marina is coming soon to Bremerton waterfront. An agreement with the Port means that 25 of the slips are reserved for long term lease to Harborside Condo owners. The Port is also planning shore services, more retail and restaurants.

A 3.5 mile boardwalk and recreational waterfront path will connect to to the marina, will cross the Warren Avenue and Manette bridges and include pocket parks with views of the Port Washington Narrows, the Olympics, and Mount Rainier.
