On the Waterfront-2nd St. & Washington Ave., Downtown Bremerton If April Showers bring May Flowers, then July brings the Concerts on the Boardwalk! Plan to come to the Louis Mentor Boardwalk and join us for four Friday nights of concerts from 6 to 8 PM beginning July 9th, 2010 with Jr. Cadillac, sponsored by West Hills Auto Plex. On four consecutive Friday nights in July, the Bremerton waterfront and its overwater park come alive with music in the Concerts on the Boardwalk series. Sponsored by the Bremerton Main Stream Association and funded by various community businesses and organizations, this event is one of the most popular in downtown Bremerton. The crowd swells with the arrival of hundreds of passengers aboard the state ferries next to the park. Pleasure boaters tie up at the Port of Bremerton Marina. Visitors can watch Bremerton-Seattle ferries and glimpse an occasional bald eagle. From time to time one can see an aircraft carrier or ship arrive or depart from Puget Sound Naval Shipyard. The panoroma of water, evergreens and Mt. Rainier provides a spectacular view.   The first concert of the 2010 season will be: Jr. Cadillac July 9th, 6pm to 8pm "Classic Rock & Roll by Northwest Favorites" This popular concert is sponsored by West Hills Auto Plex--the Haselwood Dealerships.
